What is your favorite, can't-do-without beauty product?
A hair brush. I don't wear makeup or anything unless it's an extra special occasion (or a job interview).

Have you ever colored your hair?
I color my hair all the time. I usually do varying shades of red but the last time I did it, I dyed it back to my natural color (brown) and am currently growing it out. It's driving me crazy because my part in the middle is growing in more silver than brown. I mean, COME ON I'm only 30. Oh well. Will be interesting to see how close to salt n pepper I am when all the dye grows out (for like a minute, then I'm off to the store to dye my hair a lighter color which is the reason for growing out the dark)

What do you think about men coloring their hair and/or facial hair?
I don't really think about it unless they have a particularly bad dye job. Then I just think "Ew!"

What is your favorite outfit that you own?
You'd think since I just went through my closet yesterday, I'd have an answer to this. I have 2 favorite t-shirts. One is hot pink and has Lisa from The Simpsons on it (hate that show) and says "Dork Magnet" on it. The other is pale pink and says "Football Stepmom" and has a picture of a football on it.

What makes it so special to you?
The first one is special because Hubby bought it for me. He knows that I don't like The Simpsons, but figured the phrase would make up for it. It does. Story behind why the phrase is so awesome. Way back in 1995 or 1996 Hubby and I were at church camp together (just friends at the time, though no one believed us). I was sitting there bored and was writing out my full name over and over on a piece of paper. Well Hubby noticed that my middle name starts with 'Kat' and told me "I've always wanted to call someone 'Kat' so you're it." Seeing as though I'm a sarcastic pain in the butt, I replied with "I've always wanted to call someone DORK, so YOU'RE it." Every since then, he's dork and I'm Kat. LOL (he even got me a Christmas card one year that said "I thought about sending you an E-card this Christmas" and you open it and it says "but I'm not a Dork!" hehe)

The second shirt is special because M picked it out for me for Stepmother's Day. Hubby asked him, back at the end of April/early May if M wanted to do anything for me for Mother's Day, Stepmother's Day, or not at all. M told him Stepmother's Day. Later, I had found a bunch of cute Stepmom shirts on CafePress and showed Hubby my favorites. He told me to print them out and he'd ask M to pick out which one to get for me. M picked Football Stepmom. :) I got it in the mail the Friday before Stepmother's Day (the Sunday after Mother's Day) and it hung in my closet until M came for summer visitation. I wanted him to be here the first time I wore it since it was from him. :-)
