And proud of it!!

My name isn't Dave but I'm sure many of my Facebook friends would say that it needs to be me behind that podium. I hear the comments, I just ignore them.

I have numerous health issues. I get migraines, I have Fibromyalgia, Fibro-Fog, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Fibrocystic Breast Disease, TMJ, and I think I might be on the Autism spectrum but will never get that one checked out officially. Why did I just list all my health issues out? Well partly to see that the list isn't actually as long as it feels like it is. But also because this helps explain WHY I post as much as I do.

There are days when it is work just to get out of bed, whether it's due to being overtired (CFS), pain (fibro), or depression, or whatever.. Those days I just sit around and play on Facebook because it's all I have the energy for and/or I really just need to be entertained.

The other reason why I ignore them is because I have friends who are in the same position as I am. Some are worse off; more pain, more exhaustion, etc... some are not. But they are looking for the same things I am. Something to make them smile and realize that even though we've lost a lot due to our health issues, we can still laugh and chat and whatnot.

For every "which post?" I hear, I have 3 "I love your posts!" or "You make me laugh!" or "I actually stop and read all of your posts even when I scroll past others'" and so on... I love hearing those comments!! I love making people laugh. Whether it's because I'm sharing pictures I've found or retelling goofiness from my kids, I love it! Some things I share with certain people in mind. (I tag them because I realize I post a lot and they may miss it otherwise) Some things I share just because *I* like them.

Oh by the way... if you are one of the ones who makes the comments about how much I post, it really does not offend me. :) I don't want you to think that's why I wrote this.

Now I'm off to convince a scared kitty to come out from behind my couch. We're fostering her for a couple weeks while her mommy moves and our 5 animals are a bit overwhelming to her. I'm sure stories about this will be posted on Facebook soon so stay tuned!
